The Society meets on Thursday nights between September and April at Bottesford Baptist Church, Chancel Road, Bottesford, DN16 3LD at 7:30 pm. New singers are welcome (sopranos, altos, tenors and basses). There is no formal audition (we run a mentoring scheme) and expert tuition is given. The Hall, in the thriving village of Ulceby, consists of a large main hall and a smaller committee room, and is used by many villagers, as it provides a venue for local groups to meet, and is available for hire for private parties, training courses, etc. It has full disabled access, and a toilet for the disabled. There is an outdoor play area, and a large playing field behind the hall.
Bereavement Support Groups:
Jen’s Special Place is a child bereavement support group based in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire. The group ultimately aims to support children in expressing their grief and exploring their feelings in a safe and emphatic environment; enabling them to grow through each others experiences. Parents and carers also benefit from our service; offering group adult counselling and an opportunity to speak with others in similar circumstances. Circles UK seeks greater public protection by working towards a substantial reduction in sexual offending by providing a range of services to local Circles of Support and Accountability Projects. Further, it aims to develop a greater public understanding of community approaches to public protection.
