Cruse Bereavement Care plans to train more volunteers to provide face-to-face support for bereaved people in North Lincolnshire.
A training course, organised by the South Humber Area of Cruse, will be held on the following five Saturdays in 2016, running from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm:
17th September, 8th/22nd October, 5th/19th November
The training will be held at a venue in Scunthorpe. When trained and interviewed volunteers will become members of the Scunthorpe Branch of Cruse
Those who wish, will be eligible to apply for accreditation with ASCENTIS at Level 2. The cost of training will be £50 to prospective Cruse Support Workers
All support workers receive free Clinical Supervision (including qualified counsellors)
Cruse faces a growing demand for its services and urgently needs more volunteers to reduce waiting lists. Please would you be willing to join our efforts to restore hope to clients who have suffered the devastating trauma of bereavement?
