  1. Update on Pay Rates for the Sector

National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage rates from 1st April, Gender Pay Gap and advice on reporting to HMRC – see http://www.sandy-a.co.uk/legal.htm

  1. Crosby Together/St George’s Church Open Day

The Crosby Together and St George’s Church are holding an Open Day on 28th February from 10am til 4pm. Local businesses and voluntary groups will be coming together to showcase their work and activities. Please see the attached invite for more details.

  1. Level 2 Food Hygiene

We currently have an offer on our food hygiene courses, which are externally accredited Level 2 courses. We are delivering these courses at just £30 for members, £40 for non-member VCS and £50 for the private sector. This is absolutely the cheapest around – please do book in, If you’d like to book us to deliver to a group in house please let us know! There are still a couple of places on our course on 23rd February which will be delivered from 9-4.30 here at VANL.

VANL provide a range of training services, including bespoke solutions for your organisation.   1. Health Matters Event 1 March 2017 Baths Hall Scunthorpe

Please find attached the programme for the Health Matters events on 1st and 7th March. Aimed at anyone interested in having a say and finding out more about how the Health Services are working together across Northern Lincolnshire.

  1. Local Safeguarding Children Board Conference 13 March 2017

  1. ESF Community Grants Programme

The Humber Learning Consortium are managing the ESF Community Grants Programme 2016 – 2018 of between £5,000 and £15,000 which is open for applications until 24th March (this is the third round) at 4pm.   1. Family Foundation – WE ARE RECRUITING
