Learning for Change
The L4Change programme has emerged from close identification of learning and support needs within our local community. Specifically the programme will offer an individualised learning approach for people who may face formidable barriers to community engagement, employment and volunteering. The programme will support community groups enabling people to progress into quality assured volunteering opportunities. Training will be a key element of investment for the individual and organisations.
L4Change is a Reaching Communities Big Lottery Funded Programme and is funded for 5 years. Voluntary Action North Lincolnshire are delivering the programme.

First Steps
The first steps of L4Change involve the creation of an in depth individual learning plan that will grow into an individualised learning pathway. The ILP has been developed by people from underserved communities who have already accessed learning via Voluntary Action North Lincolnshire.
If learners are not ready for group learning they may undertake smaller steps with coaching or Wellness Recovery Action Planning.
Learners may access bite sized learning from 1-3 hours and progress to accredited learning in Volunteer Management, Community Development and other areas if desired. These courses are not time limited.
Learner groups are small and supported.
Support for numeracy and literacy is also available.
All training covers National Occupational Standards
