CIC, Charity, Social Enterprise, unconstituted? What is the best legal structure for your project and how best to set it up? A short course to take you through the early days.

Make the Successful Application for Funding Bids under 10K
By the end of this training session you will have your Funding bid 80% there
23rd September 10 – 1 pm
Understanding and Working with Anxiety and Depression
Anxiety can become a mental health problem if it impacts on your ability to live your life as fully as you want to. This introductory course will help you understand why it happens and what you can do to address it and support others
30th September 1-5 pm
CIEH Level 2 Food Safety – This course is for you if you prepare and/or serve food in the community. Put your best step forwards to 5 starts on the doors! tbc
Applying for Funding Bids Under 10K – By the end of the session you will be ready to apply for your bid! Mon 23rd Sept  9.30 – 12.30
EFAW Level 3
Our most popular first aid course suitable for most low-risk workplaces. Valid for 3 years. We also provide Paediatric First Aid.
Paediatric First Aid OFSTED approved training for anyone working with children including pre schools, child minders, community groups. tbc
Masterclass Volunteer Management Training – How is managing volunteers different to managing paid staff ? What are the key challenges and responses to these and how do you develop your volunteer workforce in rapidly changing circumstances?.   9.30 – 4.30
The Effective Trustee – The world of charities has come under scrutiny in the last year especially leadership and governance. How does this stand up in your organisation? Where are the risks and what should be done about them. This course will help you navigate the role of Trustee using a range of tools that you will be able to take back to the rest of the Board. Weds 9th October 10-1 pm.
Coaching Skills for Recovery and Success Monday October 14th 9.30 – 4.30 pm
Befriending and Mentoring Masterclass How does the role of a mentor differ to that of the befriender, counsellor or coach? What are the key considerations and tools for the mentor to use when supporting someone as an adult or young person? What do you need to set up a befriending scheme? Monday 4th November 9.30 – 4.30 pm
An Introduction to Counselling Skills and Theories – This course will take you through the key counselling theories and skills. We will be using individual and group work to learn counselling skills and consider when they are most effective. Suitable for those who are new to counselling or would like to deepen their skills if they are already in a supportive role. Monday 18th Nov 9.30 – 4.30 pm
Evaluating Your Project
Don’t know your outcomes from your evidence? This course will enable you to consider your project or proposal and the best tools to evaluate the impact it will have.
 Mon 25th November 9.30 – 1 pm
Understanding and Managing Conflict more Effectively – this course is suitable for people who want to deal with conflict differently be it in the workplace, in a relationship or in families. Very useful pre xmas preparation!  Mon 2nd Dec 9.30 – 4.30.
