VANL invites local charitable organisations to attend our ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING, to be held between 10am and 1pm on Thursday, 18th October 2018 at Westcliff Community Centre, Newbolt Avenue, Scunthorpe DN17 1PE

There will also be A FUNDING FAIR, at which you can meet representatives of funding organisations including Big Lottery, Lincolnshire Community Foundation, Tribune Trust, North Lincolnshire Community Grants, CLLD, and more.

Members of VANL will be eligible to vote in the AGM and to nominate trustees (i.e. Board members). Nominations are requested for up to six vacancies on the Trustee Board, and any member organisation may nominate one representative.

To ensure that the Board reflects the diversity of the groups that we seek to serve, we are looking for people who have experience of strategic development, or an in-depth understanding of the needs of groups within the Black and Minority Ethnic communities, rural and urban communities or who have worked with other disadvantaged communities.  Please consider joining our Board.

All nominations must be submitted on the enclosed form and returned to the Chief Executive no later than Wednesday, 29th August 2018.  Nominations received after that date will not be considered.

The venue is accessible for people using wheelchairs. However, if anyone wishing to attend has special requirements to enable them to participate at the meeting, please let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to make individual arrangements.
