Payroll Services – Does your group employ paid staff?

Taking on paid staff is a major development in the life of a voluntary and community organisation. Keeping on top of changes in regulations and rates imposed by HM Customs & Revenue can be time consuming, complex and is particularly difficult for groups who do not have their own administration or finance staff to do work.

Did you know that VANL provides a low cost Payroll Preparation Service to local voluntary organisations employing paid staff?

The service aims to allow organisations to employ staff and enable them to comply with HM Customs & Revenue regulations, without having to have detailed knowledge.

We calculate weekly, fortnightly or monthly salary payments for paid staff, including PAYE, NIC and other statutory payments such as Statutory Sick Pay, Statutory Maternity Pay and Statutory Paternity Pay. We also produce employee’s payslips and summary reports for the organisation showing payments due, including payments to the Inland Revenue. If the organisation offers a Pension Scheme to employees we advise and operate pension deductions.

Plus we also deal with paying over of HMRC payments and keep relevant records in order to process HMRC year end returns on line.

Actual salaries are paid directly by you in the form of a cheque, BACS or other suitable method of payments.

As part of our services we also send out periodic reminders of other employment regulations such as National Minimum Wage and Holiday Entitlements.

If you require other services such as absence and holiday record keeping, calculation of pay increases, calculating salary budgets etc we can discuss this with you. All our payrolls are run on our sophisticated payroll system Iris Payroll so there is a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
