North Lincolnshire Personalisation Consortium
A number of voluntary groups interested in the Personalisation agenda have come together with the support of Voluntary Action North Lincolnshire and Adult Services to support other organisations and to liaise between voluntary organisations and the statutory services.
With the support of the consortium, voluntary organisations in North Lincolnshire will be able to offer a range of support services to vulnerable people, helping them to continue with an active lifestyle, and to remain in their own homes for longer.

The vision of the Personalisation Consortium is:
- To work together to offer vulnerable people within North Lincolnshire a range of support that will help them to remain independent within their own homes and communities for as long as they are able, or wish to.
- To develop the ability of the voluntary and community sector to meet the personalisation agenda in North Lincolnshire
- To ease access to the community and opportunities for people with additional needs
- To enable people to have equal life choices and be part of their communities or wider society, including promoting active citizenship.
The purpose of the Personalisation Consortium is:
- To work together to build the joint capacity of Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) organisations to deliver services for individuals purchasing their own care
- To support vulnerable people to access a wide range of community provision which will enhance their lives and promote independence
- To create efficiencies in service delivery by working more closely together, avoiding duplication where possible, jointly purchasing/procuring goods or services etc, and jointly marketing and promoting the role that the VCS can play in supporting people to remain in their homes and communities
- To unlock new sources of funding in support of the VCS for the benefit of local areas, and to manage funding through the choice of an appropriate member organisation to be the accountable body
- To build positive relationships with local statutory bodies and potential private/independent sector partners
- To review and refine priorities, in the light of experience, in order to create a long term strategy for VCS led support for vulnerable people.
