The Rural Network provides an opportunity for voluntary and community sector groups to have their needs and priorities reflected in local and regional policies and strategies.

Through the Network, groups can be actively involved in influencing decisions by having their say on issues that affect their group at a local, regional and national level.

Network members will benefit from the following:

• Access to support services tailored to their groups needs, for example, financial management, funding, training, etc.
• A mechanise to have your issues heard to influence change
• Online discussion forum
• Opportunity to input into local and national consultations
• E-news, Yorkshire and Humber Bulletin
• Free Information and network events, providing up to date information on changes that could affect the VCSOs and an opportunity to meet with people from other groups to share ideas and resources
