Youth Information Services Many local councils run Youth Information Services which are aimed at providing information and help to young people who are seeking advice. Many Youth Information Services focus on helping young people solve problems they may have, ranging from stress from exams to sexual health, whilst others will be willing to help young people with literally anything they ask. Youth Information Services can be viewed as a sort of Citizen’s Advice Bureau that caters to the needs of young people.

North Lincolnshire Youth Service North Lincs Youth Service operates a number of centres and projects for young people aged 0 - 25 years. We work mainly with the 13 -19 age group providing fun, enjoyable social and educational activities in all the five localities across the area. We provide support for youth groups and information to anyone wanting to know about setting up a group. We also operate the Duke of Edinburgh's Awards

Local Safeguarding Children's Board The North Lincolnshire local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB) was set up in April 2006. It was set up to comply with The Children Act 2004. Its purpose is to coordinate and monitor what is done by agencies who work together to safeguard children, protect them from harm and promote their welfare.

Children's Workforce Development Council CWDC aims to improve the lives of children, young people, their families and carers by ensuring that all people working with them have the best possible training, qualifications, support and advice.
