BUSINESS PLANNING FOR FUNDING APPLICATIONS

Thursday 24th June, 09.30 - 12.30, at Wilderspin National School, Queen Street, Barton on Humber DN18 5QP. This course aims to enable you to put together a business plan to complement a funding application, and will cover the following:

  • What is a business plan?
  • How to put a business plan together
  • What needs to be put into a business plan
  • How this will help your funding application

Both of the above courses are FREE to voluntary and community groups, are run by Kaye Wilson of Fit4Funding and Lottery funded.

What's On

On Saturday 19th May, 7-9pm, as part of Museums At Night, All Saints Church Winterton is to host Scunthorpe Little Theatre Club’s dramatic story telling, aimed at adults as well as children. There will be a Trail, Treasure Hunt, and Quiz as well. The troupe will take five of Winterton’s residents from history and tell their stories, dressed in appropriate costume, in rotation through the evening, and there will be prizes for the children who do the Treasure Hunt. Entry is free.

Friday 25th and Saturday 26th May, Come to Barton for the Barton Beer Festival organised by Barton Lions. Held in Baysgarth Park, there will be a variety of real ales, as well as lagers, wine and soft drinks available. Entertainment includes live music and there will be the Lions catering van on-site, offering burgers etc. A great day or evening out!
